hopefully it lives up to the hype of the first entry, considering how well received it was!! i'll probably write a first date or a date or more stuff for this au, but this particular scene had been in my head for a while and i needed to get those gremlins out. enjoy :)

Hiii!!! If it isn't to much trouble may I have (male) baldurs gate matchup please. My pronouns are she/her. my Mbti type is infj-a/infj-t. I tend to be shy around new people but I can be somewhat loud with people who im close to. My height is 5'0. I would describe my aesthetic as girly/soft/cottegecore, lots of long dresses and skirts.

Im not very athletic and im not a big fan of sports but I love to go roller and ice skating. I also love to read books and to also cook and bake food. I also like to garden. I've been playing the violin for 7-ish years. I love animals and I'm planning on becoming a wildlife veterinarian, I'm in college as a biology major. I like to Watch nature/animal documentaries. I also like sweets.

Somethings I dislike are people who bend or ruin my books and people who speak over me when im trying to talk.I love music, I can listen to any genre and like it but my favorites are indie,bedroom pop and classic rock. ○ Slow burn! You're shy, and he's insecure. It takes both of you a long time to accept and realize that the other feels the same - despite everyone else trying to point it out to the both of you. Still, thay gives you all the more time to fall in love and open up more naturally.

○ Though the two of you are unofficial for a long time, when Gale finally works up the nerve to take you on your first official date, it's the most beautiful night. He takes you to a romantic spot and you find that he had spent all day conjuring a full ice rink and procuring skates - then trying to learn how to skate. He's still pretty bad at staying standing and you guys fall a few times, but it gives him and excuse to hold you while you skate. For support, of course.

○ Books? Books. Between your shared libraries you have every genre, and if there's anything you ever want for Gale is quick to add it to the shelves. Every book is in not pristine, bit well taken care of condition. We respect Books in this house, even if they eventually do become well loved.

I recently read a fic taking place in @/cymk8’s Ice Rink au, and it gave me an idea.

Rivera is a huge fan of a hockey team known as the Feywild Riders, a well known team around Baldur's Gate. Recently, at some point, he became inspired to try to learn to skate. He knew he was far too small to play hockey, but he figured that just attempting to ice skate would be a good learning experience if anything else. His attempts to do so don't go very well; that is, until a fellow tiefling approaches and asks if he needs help. After a moment, he recognizes her as Karlach, star player of the Avernus Wildfires. He's quite surprised to see her here alone, much less coming to the aid of some stranger. She tells him that she likes to practice by herself some days, just as a break from the stress of team practices. As they spend more time together, they become friends. As the two grow closer, Zariel, team owner of the Wildfires, inevitably catches wind. Even if Rivera's just a fan of the Riders, it doesn't make her any less indignant. She knew Karlach didn't want to stay on the team, and she didn't need some runt giving her ideas.

favorite game from the last 5 years?: Ooh, I haven’t actually gotten many new games the last few years, but I think I would say Stardew Valley.

most nostalgic game?: Probably Ms Pacman, although I haven’t played it in years. But it was the first game I got really into, on the machine at the roller rink

game that deserves a sequel?: I think most of the games I’ve played have had or been parts of a series, but LOTRO could do with a complete overhaul at this point, which I would almost certainly give a try. I’d play a third Torchlight as well.

game that deserves a remaster?: Assuming remaster doesn’t mean overhaul as per above, Baldur’s Gate 1&2 would be nice. I tried the Enhanced editions a couple years ago but the graphics look so muddy now to my eyes that it was really hard to play and figure out what I was looking at and meant to be doing.

favorite game series?: My gut answer is Elder Scrolls, but I’ve played a lot more Pokemon main series games, so either works!  

favorite genre?: Toss-up between MMOs and RPGs, I think. 

least favorite genre?: Probably FPS (although I do enjoy a bit of Overwatch against the bots) or platformers (I suck at them).

favorite character from a game?: I’m going to exclude my OCs because that feels a bit silly (and narcissistic!), so, Alistair Theirin (Dragon Age), Aveline Vallen (Dragon Age 2), Rox (GW2), Magister Sieran (GW2) Blathers (Animal Crossing), Sir Finley Mrrgglton (monocles are funny, ok??), Mayor Erkens (SWTOR)

favorite ship from a game?: MC/Alistair in Dragon Age Origins. I’m trying to think of two scripted characters I ship most (as in, neither is a player-created character) and the only one I can think of in any game is Cassandra and Varric in Inquisition. There must be others. Horn and Nona were cute in LOTRO. There must be someone I like in WoW or GW2 but I’m drawing a blank. I blame the jetlag.

favorite voice actor from a game?: Steve Valentine (Alistair), Kath Soucie (Female Smuggler), Gideon Emery (lots), Darin de Paul (Reinhardt), Aysha Selim (Ana)

favorite cutscene?: Tough one! I will say, discovering Skyhold in Dragon Age Inquisition (or Wicked Grace!), experiencing the Eternal Alchemy in Guild Wars 2

favorite boss?:  Does airship battle in Icecrown Citadel count? Because ROCKETBEAR! :D

first console?: Game Boy Color

current console or consoles?: 3DS XL, Switch, a bunch of old ones (earlier DS models, Wii, Mr. Bear has an Xbox of some kind and I think we have or had some old Playstations at one point) - we’re mainly PC gamers though

console you want?: Not really any atm I guess? Between PC and DS I get most of the games I want, I think. I mean, if someone wanted to give me the newest Xbox or PS or whatever I wouldn’t say no, but I’m generally more adept with keyboard and mouse for some reason (although some games, like the Lego ones, are much easier with a controller).

place from a game that you’d like to visit?:  Lothlorien, the Shire, the Emerald Dream, Sunsong Ranch, Numbani, The Grove, The Astralarium

place from a game that you’d like to live in?:  The Animal Crossing town, or Coruscant. (I love a lot of the ‘places to visit’ more, but...mod cons, you guys, mod cons.)

ridiculous crossover that would never happen but would be super fun?: R2/WALL-E BUDDY MOVIE DAMMIT Uhhh...hmm. Animal Crossing: Azeroth?

book that would make a good game?: I...can’t really think of one, honestly. I read so little nowadays, and Discworld’s already had a couple. I have no clue how you’d make a Jeeves and Wooster or other PG Wodehouse game. You could probably set an RPG in the world of the Babylon Steel books, I suppose.

show/movie that would make a good game?: I think a lot of pop culture properties would make really fun MOBAs, like My Little Pony, Lilo and Stitch, Disney heroes, and so on. It feels a bit wrong to make ponies or whoever belligerent but they do fight villains in the show! The Great Wall probably could work well, too, with all the different types of units.

games you want to play?:  Pathfinder: Kingmaker, kind of interested in Cyberpunk 2077 and the new Assassin’s Creed, depending how brutal they are. And of course TESVI when it comes out (even if it’s not Black Marsh, bah.)

have you gotten 100% completion in a game?: Not sure. I’m only missing one achievement on Plants vs Zombies, I know.

have you cried over a game?: HAHAHAHA yes, it’s me. Dragon Age Origins freakin’ destroyed me, the horrible Hobson’s choice(s) at the end. I moped for days. I’ve still never managed the ultimate sacrifice ending because you get to the goodbyes and THE DOG KNOWS, and I just nope out and hit escape. Pretty sure I’ve got teary in others too: Ysera, NOOOOO!, maybe the Bridenbrad quest in World of Warcraft, or some in LOTRO, or trying to do jumping puzzles in Guild Wars 2 (I HATE YOU TOO, SPACEBAR). Oh, during the GW2 vanilla personal story, at the Battle of Claw Island, maybe. Good thing I never got into Mass Effect, I’d have ended up in hospital from dehydration, by the sounds of it.

what power-up or ability would you want in real life?: I usually always go with flying in these cases but I wouldn’t object to turning into my big tough World of Warcraft bear either. Let’s say shapeshifting, then!
